Reset Your Data
Need a clean slate without losing your account?
The "Fresh Start" Option
Sometimes bank connections get messy, or your financial situation changes drastically. Instead of deleting your entire SafeSpend account, you can perform a data reset.
A Data Reset will:
- Disconnect your currently linked bank accounts.
- Wipe your confirmed bill rules and ignored patterns.
- Reset your Safe To Spend buffer to £0.00.
- Send you back to the beginning of the setup process to re-link your bank.
How to reset your data:
- Open the SafeSpend app.
- Tap Settings on the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll down to the red Danger Zone section.
- Tap Purge Financial Data.
- Press and hold the "Hold to Purge Data" button for 3 seconds to confirm.
