Community Labelling
Sometimes, a local merchant or a brand new online store slips past our SmartClean service. When you manually rename a messy transaction (e.g., changing "J SMITHS LTD" to "Smith's Bakery"), SafeSpend learns from it.
We add that translation to our shared database. The next time another SafeSpend user shops at that bakery, their app will automatically show the clean, readable name. It is 100% anonymous; your personal details, bank account, and amount spent are never attached to the label.
